It’s a celebration of the good, the bad, and the ugly. So buckle your seats, grab your tissues, and get ready for the ride.

225 fans responded. Some people did not vote in all of the categories. These are the results.

SPOILERS if you haven’t seen Season 7 of Game of Thrones.

Now let’s get started.

Best Surprise Return-222 Votes

The nominees for the Best Surprise Return are:

  • Gendry
  • Coldhands
  • Hot Pies
  • Nymeria

And the winner is Nymeria.

We missed you! Things haven’t gone well for the Stark direwolves, so it was refreshing to see one living life and being great. Throughout the week Nymeria and Gendry were neck and neck. But in the end, Team Direwolf came through and gave the pack alpha the win. Gendry was a close second. Hot Pies wasn’t too far behind in third. And Coldhands was last.

Best Combat Sequence-224 Votes

The nominees for the Best Combat Sequence are:

  • Brienne of Tarth vs Arya Stark
  • The Queen of Dragons vs The Lannister Army
  • Yara Greyjoy Fleet vs Euron Greyjoy Fleet
  • The Bros Beyond the Wall vs The Army of the Dead
  • The Unsullied vs Casterly Rock

And the winner is the Queen of Dragons vs the Lannister Army.

Queen Daenerys killed it all over again receiving over 50% of the votes. This combat sequence showed the superior fighting skills of the Dothraki along with the carnage a dragon can bring. I mean you can try with the scorpion, but-er-uh . . . not gonna happen. Brienne of Tarth vs Arya Stark came in second packing plenty of girl power. The Bros Beyond the Wall vs the Army of the Dead came in third with a series of nail biting moments. And the Yara “No Look Out” Greyjoy Fleet vs the Euron “Guyliner Always Wins” Greyjoy Fleet was fourth. No votes were cast for Grey Worm and Gang vs the Lannister B Squad.

“A scorpion? Hold my beer.”

Best Collaboration-224 Votes

The nominees for the Best Collaboration are:

  • The Stark Kids-Sansa, Arya, & Brandon
  • Cersei Lannister & Euron Greyjoy
  • The HLIC’s-Daenerys Targaryen, Olenna Tyrell, Yara Greyjoy, & Ellaria Sand
  • The Bros Beyond the Wall

And the winner is the Stark Kids.

Sansa, Arya, and Brandon have experienced too much over the last 7 seasons to allow anyone to come into their house and divide the pack. They beat a snake at his own game, and the voters rewarded them with almost half of the votes. The Bros Beyond the Wall came in second. The Head Ladies In Charge (HLIC’s) came in third. And Cersei Lannister and Euron Greyjoy came in last.

Best Suspension of Disbelief Moment in Ep. 6-222 Votes

The nominees for the Best Suspension of Disbelief Moment in Episode 6 are:

  • Gendry running all the way to Eastwatch super fast
  • Eastwatch sending a raven to Dragonstone super fast
  • Daenerys Targaryen responding to the raven super fast
  • Bros Beyond the Wall surviving until dragons arrived super fast
  • Jon Snow riding back to Eastwatch on horseback super fast

And the winner is Gendry running all the way to Eastwatch super fast.

He must be part sled dog. Episode 6 “Beyond the Wall” was full of events that challenged viewers to suspend disbelief at an extreme level. So, I can imagine that it was tough to vote for the best “Oh, C’mon. For R’hllor Jesus sake!” moment. Bros Beyond the Wall surviving until dragons arrived super fast actually led most of the week. But in the end, voters went with Sled Dog Gendry. Bros surviving was a very close second. Dany responding super fast was third followed closely by Eastwatch sending a raven super fast. Jon’s ride back to Eastwatch super fast came in last.

Best Savior-224 Votes

The nominees for the Best Savior are:

  • Coldhands
  • Samwell Tarly
  • Bronn
  • Daenerys Targaryen
  • Gendry

And the winner is Daenerys Targaryen.

Daenerys definitely had the save with the biggest impact. But, I want to take a moment to give a shout out to Samwell Tarly. This chamber pot cleaning hero deserves some love because he saved the day in the nerdiest ways possible, from discovering the dragon glass stash under Dragonstone to finding a cure for Ser Jorah’s greyscale. He tried to talk some good sense into Archmaester “Professor Slughorn” Marwyn, and even got some help from his boo Gilly on Jon Snow’s true lineage. So, let’s give Lord Samwell Tarly a round of applause. Fireball Wielding Coldhands came in second with Bro Pushing Bronn a close third. Sam the Man came in fourth. Sled Dog Gendry was last.

Best Reunion-224 Votes

The nominees for the Best Reunion are:

  • The Stark Kids-Sansa, Arya, & Brandon
  • Daenerys Targaryen & Jorah Mormont
  • The Bros Beyond The Wall
  • The Hound & Cleganestein
  • Jaime & Tyrion Lannister

And the winner is the Stark Kids.

Few families in Game of Thrones has suffered more than the Starks over the entire 7 seasons, so it was wonderful to finally see the surviving siblings reunited. Voters shared that sentiment and gave the Starks almost half of the vote. Voters also enjoyed the sibling reunion between Jaime and Tyrion Lannister. The brothers came in second. Daenerys and Friend-Zoned Jorah came in third with the Cleganes following closely in fourth. The Bros were last.

Best C U Next Tuesday-224 Votes

The nominees for the Best C*nt are:

  • Cersei Lannister
  • Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish
  • Euron Greyjoy
  • Night King
  • Archmaester Marwyn

And the winner is Cersei Lannister.

She took the title formerly held by her eldest son Joffrey and ran with it. At this point, she’s so much of a c*unt that even Jaime said, “You know what. You can be Queen of Crazy Town all by yo’ self. I’m out.” Cersei had half of the votes for most of the week, but then some fans came through late in the game and decided Euron Greyjoy needed a little more attention. So, Emo Punk Pirate is in second place. Littlefinger is third. The Night King is fourth followed closely by Archmaester “Professor Slughorn” Marwyn.

Best Good Riddance-223 Votes

The nominees for Best Good Riddance are:

  • Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish
  • The Sand Snakes-Obara, Nymeria, & Tyene
  • Randyll & Dickon Tarly
  • All The Frey Men

And the winner is Petyr. Littlefinger. Baelish.

Littlefinger suffered from a false sense of security believing that he could continue to do the same rhyming and scheming and not get got. Well, he probably wasn’t planning on Faceless Woman Arya and Third-Eyed Raven Bran joining Sansa Fierce at Winterfell. Their award-winning collaboration brought him to his end. Good riddance! His death received a little over half of the votes. All the Frey Men came in second. (Thanks again, Arya.) The Sand Snakes came in third. (Bye, Felicias!) And Randyll and Dickon “Rickon” Tarly came in last.

Best Romance-224 Votes

The nominees for the Best Romance are:

  • Jon Snow & Daenerys Targaryen
  • Samwell Tarly & Gilly
  • Grey Worm & Missandei
  • Tormund Giantsbane & Brienne of Tarth
  • Cersei & Jaime Lannister

And the winner is T + B = Giant Ginger Babies!

Tormund Giantsbane and Brienne of Tarth is the relationship voters are most rooting for. But the couple isn’t the only one on the big ‘ship ship. Grey Worm and Missandei gave Tormund and Brienne a run for their money. The two couples were very close in votes through much of the week. But in the end, the bear f*cker and bear fighter got the prize. Grey Worm and Missandei came in second. Fire and Ice came in third. Sam and Gilly were fourth. And the Lannister twins got the last place with two votes.

Best Quote-224 Votes

The nominees for the Best Quote are:

  • “Tell them the North remembers. Tell them winter came for House Frey.”-Arya Stark
  • “You look a lot better at brooding than I do.”-Tyrion Lannister
  • “Tell Cersei. I want her to know it was me.”-Olenna Tyrell
  • “Nothing f*cks you harder than time.”-Davos Seaworth
  • “Maybe it really is all c*cks in the end.” Jaime Lannister

And the winner is the Kween of Shade Miss Olenna Tyrell.

Leave it to the Diva of Highgarden to go out with a bang. She let Mister Jaime know that she was the one who killed Joffrey, and wanted the uncle-daddy to tell Miss Cersei it was her. Yasssssss, hunty! Do that. Say that. Miss Olenna received half of the votes with all that savagery. Faceless Woman Arya came in second with her reminder that the North has a long memory. Jaime’s observation about c*cks came in third. Davos’s relationship with time came in fourth. And Tyrion lamenting about his brooding ability was last.

Best Sidekick-224 Votes

The nominees for the Best Sidekick are:

  • Podrick Payne
  • Bronn
  • Davos Seaworth
  • Tyrion Lannister
  • Theon Greyjoy

And the winner is Davos “Onion Knight” Seaworth.

This was an extremely close category with Davos and second place winner Bronn going back and forth. It was fun to watch. Bronn was leading this past Friday, but some of the last voters came in to support the Hand to the King of the North. Both men definitely kicked arse in the sidekick and friend departments this past season. Podrick “Magic Penis” Payne came in third. Tyrion “He Tried” Lannister came in fourth. And Theon “Bless His Heart” Greyjoy was last with one vote.

Best Arse-222 Votes

The nominees for the Best Arse are:

  • Jon Snow
  • Missandei
  • Cersei Lannister’s Body Double
  • Grey Worm
  • Daenerys Targaryen

And the winner is Jon Snow.

All this thickness was very much appreciated by the Game of Thrones fan community. He had well over half of the votes, and rightly so. Showrunners Benioff and Weiss have thankfully cut back on the gratuitous nudity that was prevalent in earlier seasons. So ass shots that are also relevant to the scene/story are noice. Thanks guys! Missandei and her sweet tushy came in second. Dany’s derriere was third. Grey Worm’s gluteus maximus was fourth. And Cersei’s body double’s backside was last with four votes.

Best Style-224 Votes

The nominees for the Best Style are:

  • Daenerys Targaryen
  • Cersei Lannister
  • Euron Greyjoy
  • Sansa Stark
  • Brienne of Tarth

And the winner is Daenerys Targaryen.

Queen Daenerys was slaying literally with dragons and figuratively with her fashion. The honor is well-deserved with the mother of dragons receiving three-fourths of the vote. Her “Save the Bros” fur coat was beloved by the interwebs. And just about everything she wore this past season was hot fire. However, just like with Sam, I have to recognize someone who may not have been a popular choice but definitely deserves some love. Brienne of Tarth rocked the hell out of her lady armor boss gear. If Karl Lagerfeld was dressing Dany, Tom Ford had to be on board for Team Tarth. You go, girl! Sansa Fierce came in second. Darth Cersei came in third. Emo Punk Pirate Euron came in fourth. And Brienne “I Don’t Pop Molly, I Rock Tom Ford” of Tarth was last.

Best Northern Lady-224 Votes

The nominees for the Best Northern Lady are:

  • Lyanna Mormont
  • Sansa Stark
  • Arya Stark
  • Alys Karstark

And the winner is Lyanna Mormont.

Beware of the Bear! Lady Mormont owns all the scenes that she’s in, and we are loving the Game of Thrones writing staff for that. Voters gave her almost 70% of the vote in this category. Sorry other Northern ladies. It’s not that we don’t love you. We just love Lyanna the bestest. Sansa Stark was second. Arya Stark was third. And Alys Karstark was last with 2 votes. But, I got to give a shout out to Lady Karstark. And here’s why. Up until this point, we had no idea who Alys was. She only had a few minutes of screen time. It’s highly likely that we’ll never see her again. However, she gets major props because she showed up at the king’s court not knowing whether she was going to live or die. Sansa was all prepared to strip the Karstark family of their ancestral lands without hesitation. Thank goodness Jon shut that down. Alys renewed her pledge to the Starks, and I’m confident she’ll make good on her promise. And that is definitely behavior that embodies a noble lady of the North.

The Summer-Hodor Commemorative Plate Award-119 Responses

The recipient of the Summer-Hodor Commemorative Plate Award is the Queen of Thrones and Kween of Shade Lady Olenna Tyrell.

She gave life to every scene she was in, and the fans loved her for it. She hustled hard to get her family in positions of prestige and authority with cunning and finesse. And when you came for her people, she came for you. Rest in peace Miss Olenna. We would gladly eat Lord Manderly’s signature pie off of a commemorative plate with your face on it. It’s a dish best-served savage.

Eddard “Ned” Stark Humanitarian Award-143 Responses

The recipient of the Eddard “Ned” Stark Humanitarian Award is the Kingslayer and Incestuous Babymaker Ser Jaime Lannister.

This individual has experienced tremendous growth in the TV series and deserves to be recognized for becoming honorable in a selfless manner after behaving dishonorably in a selfish manner back in the day. It all started with the loss of a sword hand. Losing a limb is traumatic for anyone, but losing the limb that helps make you adored, feared, and respected will lead to some major self-discovery. Ser Jaime makes a comeback after his maiming experience and gradually becomes a far better person. By the time he reaches the end of Season 7, Jaime has learned to be truly honorable regardless of the consequences. For that, he gets the 1980’s slow clap.

  1. Now I missed my chance to vote on this, but that’s all good. I’ve got to say that I wouldn’t have voted with the people on this one and only would’ve been with them a few times: Best Collaboration with the Stark Kids, Best See You Next Tuesday for Cersei, and Best Sidekick for Davos. Plus the Ned Stark Award for Jaime. Best Quote should’ve went to Arya dammit! I even bought a blanket with that quote on it!
